Pedals and Picnics is an e-bike and picnic experience based at the start of the Northern Rivers Rail Trail in South Murwillumbah. We combine premium comfortable e-bikes or push bikes with locally made grazing boxes and luxuary picnic setups so you can ride the trail at your own pace and stop anywhere for your own private picnic.

Based at the Murwillumbah trailhead. Our grazing boxes are made fresh with produce from local farms, makers and growers across the Tweed region.
This isn't a guided tour with a fixed itinerary. You choose where to ride, where to stop and how long to stay. The trail is flat, safe and car-free — no fitness required.
We use sustainable, compostable and recyclable packaging across all our picnic setups and grazing boxes. Enjoying the trail means looking after it too.
Britt-Marie met us with our e-bikes ready and picnic assembled. We highly recommend this bike trip! As an e-bike novice, I found the flat path easy to navigate and it meandered along pretty pastoral fields and quaint towns. Upon recommendation from Britt-Marie, we stopped for our picnic next to a watering hole, which was a perfect way to cool off and we had the place to ourselves for a while. The picnic was thoughtfully put together and plenty to keep us sustained for the ride. Thank you so much for helping us make memories on our holiday. We hope to come back someday!
